Overview:
Maxor is currently seeking a highly accomplished VP/SVP Pharmacy Services Sales to join our dynamic and growing Pharmacy Services team. The VP/SVP Pharmacy Services Sales is the driving force behind revenue growth in the managed pharmacy, 340B, and health system space. Your experience selling in healthcare entities will be key to developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key clients, and providing direction and support to the sales team. As the VP/SVP Pharmacy Services Sales, you will be at the forefront of innovation by continuously analyzing market trends and customer needs. Your data driven insights will be the catalyst for continuous improvement in sales performance and unparalleled business growth.

Successful Candidate Experience Profile
  • Must have experience selling in healthcare entities – preferred success selling to health systems and FQHC / Ryan White / STI grantees
  • Bachelor’s Degree or extensive experience required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience / demonstrated success in sales generation and achieving high-growth sales targets with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with executive and senior leadership, functional/support staff and partners to create results-driven, team-oriented business development successes
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets accomplished through personal leadership of a high performing sales team. Assess, coach, hire, develop and direct selling activities of a distributed and experienced inside and outside sales organization.
  • Strong grasp of 340B program and its impact on covered entities and the sales process
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and closing
  • Ability to develop and implement sales plans and strategies and make strategic decisions to achieve identified objectives
  • Substantial experience and acumen working within pharmacy - PBM experience is a plus
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills in sales and business (competitive) strategies
  • Extremely effective public speaking skills, presence and relationship building
  • Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills and executive presence
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills required to initiate and develop productive working partnerships; both internally and externally
  • Understanding of key areas of marketing, sales, client service, and revenue generation, and how they intersect in a professional services business to create profitability
  • Exemplary business development and client management capabilities with a proven track record in the health care industry
  • Strong project management and time management skills

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with Maxor’s overall objectives and revenue goals.
  • Grow & maintain a robust, qualified new business pipeline.
  • Execute the established Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Demonstrate consistent activity disciplines to maximize new business development and assure perpetual pipeline growth.
  • Proven proposal management skills with a history of developing creative and profitable approaches; politically savvy.
  • Display exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development and presentation, and sales cycle.
  • Demonstrate rigor for sales pipeline maintenance, tactical planning and closing.
  • Maximize the strategic sales plans within the full breadth of solutions and services.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and use this information to inform future sales strategies.
  • Sell value - added solutions using a professional consultative selling approach.
  • Demonstrate solid leadership qualities and organizational skills in coordinating the sales cycle.
  • Manage the sales cycle through the use of pipeline and account reviews to include all stakeholders.
  • Partner with finance in developing and managing the sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet sales targets and support business growth.
  • Create alignment of overall service delivery to effectively manage the client lifecycle
  • Monitor client service continuum including proactive and reactive components.
  • Partner with other business units to sponsor and drive strategic client relationships, to cross-sell all of Maxor’s products and services.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices and make recommendations for new sales techniques or technologies to help the company stay ahead of the competition.
  • Establish, build and maintain positive, professional relationships and interaction at all decision levels.
  • Maintain a highly credible and professional profile within the industry, building sustainable, long-term relationships based on the business value Maxor brings our clients.
  • Demonstrate and maintain a deep proficiency and expert knowledge level of all existing and new capabilities.
  • Participate in trade shows and other industry events as appropriate.
  • Provide input for product enhancement and new product development.
  • Hire, train and develop high-performing teams.
  • Develop and mentor departmental staff by providing career coaching; motivate departmental staff, individually and as a group; understand and support diversity; and establish an effective team.
